Origin: Paraguayan and Brazilian Amazon, from wild harvest.
Baccharis is a recognized plant in the pharmacopoea of Gurani Indian from Praguay. Since 100 years, it is part of the tradition in Brazil. (Baccharis trimera is the sientific name ).
In Paraguay it is called Jaguar’ete Ka’aest which signifies the plant of the great jaguar, and “Carqueja” in Brazil. You can refer to the present bibliographies to get more information.
Part used: upper part of the stems and leaves of the plant.
Directions for use : 1 teaspoon in the morning and at noon before meals. To dilute in a cold drink. Cure of 3 weeks to renew. To associate with Tecoma to benefit from the best of the plants.
